Meet Our Staff

Geoff Root is the General Manager at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Geoff was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and then his parents Randy & Carolyn decided to move to St. Augustine, Florida. Geoff spent most of his life growing up in St. Augustine area, where he attended St. Johns Technical High School. Geoff was "Salutatorian" of his graduating class, a member of Youth leadership St. Johns and the recipient of the "Character Counts award" for St. Johns County. 5 Years ago, Geoff made the move to Cookeville as the Used Car Director. From there he rapidly climbed the ranks all the way to General Manager. With over 13 years in the automotive industry, the experience and knowledge Geoff brings to the table is unmatched. When asked why he enjoys working in the car industry? he states, "I truly have a passion for cars, and I really enjoy interacting with all of our customers that come through the door. I want all of our customers to know that they will always be taken care of at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville." Geoff's accountability, selflessness, and commitment to excellence have made him the best of the best across the nation among Ford employees. Geoff is a Ford "Presidents Award" winner, only given to 340 employees out of 5000 dealerships. Geoff does an outstanding job of constantly developing our employees and helping them to maximize their careers in the car industry. Our entire staff would like to thank Geoff for all his hard work, he has laid the foundation for the future success of our dealership. When Geoff is not running the dealership, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, taking his RZR out, and working on his Shelby GT500.

Joe Hayden is the General Sales Manager here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Joe originally hails from Detroit, Michigan. He attended Redford High School in the heart of Detroit. Joe left the "Motor City" to pursue his career in the car business. He left Detroit, and headed to Cookeville, TN in 2001. He has been with us at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville ever since. With over 16 years at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville Joe Hayden has proven to be a pillar of this dealership. When asked why he enjoys working in the auto industry, Joe states "I like being there for people, helping them better themselves and their families' lives. People depend on their vehicles for their everyday life, it is a rewarding feeling knowing I'm putting them in reliable vehicles their families can depend on for years to come. I truly care about taking care of everyone that walks into the dealership." When Joe is not taking care of customers at the dealership, he enjoys spending his time away golfing, fishing, farming, blazing trails in his razor, and spending quality time with his 2 sons. Our staff is thankful to have a guy like Joe Hayden on our management team at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Joe's consistent work ethic, trustworthiness, and dedication to customers for over 16 years has made Joe one of the best Ford Employees in the country. Joe is a 3 time recipient of the "Ford Excellence Award", which is the highest honor from Ford Motor Company. Joe also is in the top percentile in the country for "CSI" (Customer Satisfaction) Joe is a substantial contributor to our success, we look forward to having Joe here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville for many years to come.

Lynn Jared is our Used Car Manager here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Lynn grew up right here in the Upper Cumberland, attending Cookeville High School. For over 43 years, Lynn has called Cookeville home with his wife and 4 children. During his 7 year tenure in the automotive industry, Lynn Jared has became one of the most respected in the business throughout the Upper Cumberland area. When asked why he chose to pursue a career in the car business, Lynn says "It's always been a joy to help people, buying a car is a huge decision for peoples' lives. I'm here for them every step of the way. My customers know their best interest is my priority. It's very gratifying when people come back years later to buy another car from you because they know they will be taken great care of." When Lynn is not managing at the dealership, he enjoys watching and playing sports. Lynn does more than just watch and play sports though, he has volunteered 8 years of his time to be involved with youth sports in the community. He coached multiple teams and held a chair on the Algood Baseball Committee for 8 years. Besides sports, Lynn's favorite passion is being in the woods hunting deer and turkey. He recently just completed the "Grand Slam of Turkey Hunting." Which to complete you must harvest a bird from the Eastern, Osceola, Rio Grande, & Merriam's wild turkey subspecies. We are blessed to have Lynn Jared be on our management team at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. You can tell Lynn truly loves what he does. It is hard to find another one like him, His passion for the car business and his passion to make sure our customers are always taken care of is second to none. Brandon is our Director of Marketing and Public Relations here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Brandon's marketing knowledge has made him a great asset to our team since he joined in May 2017. Brandon was raised right here in Cookeville, where he attended Cookeville High School and was a standout on the baseball diamond for CHS. He continued his baseball career at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR where he retained his degree. After his senior year, Brandon was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 2012 MLB Draft. After playing 4 seasons in the Giants organization, Brandon decided to move back to Cookeville with his wife Katy to pursue his career in the marketing industry. When asked why he enjoys marketing at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville? Brandon states, "I've found my calling, marketing has become a newfound passion for me. Being a baseball player most of my life, I have grown quite fond of statistics and analytics. I enjoy reviewing data to compile marketing strategies that will make our dealership operate more efficiently. I enjoy being back in my hometown where I grew up, there really is no place like home. What I enjoy the most is being able to utilize our resources and platform to make a positive impact on the people in the Upper Cumberland community. We truly care about the people of our community at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. We enjoy partnering together with local programs and events to help support our community. When Brandon is not working at the dealership, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife Katy and their son Ripken. He also enjoys training the youth baseball players throughout the Upper Cumberland, going out on the lake, and racing his top alcohol dragster on the weekends with his dad.

Pancho is our Sales Manager here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Pancho moved to Cookeville in 2010 from San Luis Opisbo, California. Pancho has been in the automotive industry for 7 years. The experience he's gained over those 7 years, his product knowledge, paired with his willingness to serve every customer he works with before and after the sale makes him a valuable piece to our sales staff. When asked why he decided to start a career in car sales? Pancho says " I'm a people person! I really enjoy the people and families I get to work together with. Buying a car may take a few hours, but the relationships I've built with my customers last a liftetime!" Pancho currently resides in the Muddy Pond Community with his wife of 34 years. They have 2 children and have 2 grandchildren. Before Pancho moved to Tennessee & decided to start a career in the car industry, he ran a successful retail business for over 20 years. If you can't find Pancho at the dealership, he's probably hunting, fishing, working on the farm, or catching waves on his surfboard at the nearest beach. Pancho's integrity, work ethic, and selflessness he has displayed on a daily basis over the last 7 years has established him as a critical key to the success of our dealership. We are thrilled to have Pancho Martin on our staff at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville, and excited about Panchos future at the dealership.

Ray is our New Car Manager here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Ray was born and raised in Pennsylvania where he went to Boyentown High School. He continued on to get his degree in education from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania. Ray moved to Cookeville from Pennsylvania six years ago to take a position with our dealership. Ever since that move Ray has proven to be a dynamic factor for our success at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. When Ray was asked why he enjoys working in the automotive industry? He states, "I love getting to work with our customers and build relationships that will last a lifetime. The people I have met in the Upper Cumberland have made me feel right at home. I also enjoy the people I get to work with. We put many hours in at the dealership on a daily basis, the staff here has become like family to me. I'm very proud to say I work at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville." Ray enjoys spending his time away from the dealership with his three children. Ray is also an avid traveler, visiting 47 states in the US and Europe. Ray loves sports and staying active. He enjoys playing racquetball, basketball, hiking, and being out on the golf course. Ray is also a big fan of everything Disney, he visits Disney World every year with his children. Ray's versatility, charismatic personality, and excellent communication skills have been a great addition to our staff. Ray truly cares about our customers and goes above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure our customers receive excellent service. Ray has done an excellent job working with our sales team to maximize staff potential and grow their careers in the automotive industry. We are very glad to have Ray Moyer on our team at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. He has become family to us since he moved to the Cookeville area. Travis is our Finance Director here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Travis was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. During his adolescent years in the capital city, Travis attended Woodlawn High School. Travis went on to finish his studies at LSU, he rooted on the LSU Tigers every Saturday as a LSU Cheerleader from 2002-2006. Travis has been in the car business ever since he graduated LSU. With over 11 years in the business, his driven personality led him up the ranks of the dealership. Travis has experience in every position from salesperson to general sales manager, before settling down as head of the finance department last year. When asked what he enjoys about working in the auto industry? Travis states, "I enjoy getting to know our customers and interacting with people, I have always loved cars, and the people I get to work with. In the car industry, you spend a lot of time at the dealership around your co-workers, they become like family to you." When Travis isn't working deals at the dealership, he enjoys to spend his spare time with his wife and their two boys Landon and Finnley. His favorite hobbies include being out in the woods blazing trails in his RZR, playing golf, or being out on the boat at the lake. We are honored to have Travis Winston on our team at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Since Travis has worked in multiple positions, it's hard to find anyone that truly knows the ins and out of a car dealership like he does. Travis does a tremendous job of helping our customers through the car buying process. He always puts the customers best interest above his own. Layne Boyce is the Finance Department at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Layne has spent his entire life in the Upper Cumberland region. He attended high school in his hometown of Celina, Tennessee. After high school, Layne accepted a baseball scholarship to Pellissippi State in Knoxville, Tennessee. He transferred to finish his studies and collegiate baseball career at Tennessee Tech here in Cookeville. Layne has been helping customers with financing their vehicle purchases for over 15 years now. When asked why he enjoys his position in the car industry? Layne states, "I enjoy being there for our customers, I'm by their side through the entire process to fulfill their dreams of getting the vehicle they've always wanted. I also enjoy working with people to help build their credit, and setting them and their family up for future financial success." When Layne is not helping customers get financed at the dealership, he enjoys camping with wife Keisha and their daughter Layla. He is also an avid golfer who enjoys traveling to play courses throughout Tennessee. We are thankful to have Layne Boyce on our Finance & Insurance team. With over 15 years of experience, Layne's expertise and knowledge helps provide our customers with a smooth car buying process. Our customers can rely on Layne, he always exhausts every option possible to help them get the best deal for their vehicle. We look forward to having Layne on our team for many more years to come.

Anthony Morgan is in our Finance Department at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Anthony started out in sales and worked his way up to Internet Director before being promoted to the finance department. Anthony and his family are originally from Ypsilatnti, Michigan. They decided to move to Cookeville in 2002 and have been in the Upper Cumberland ever since. Anthony attended Cookeville High School, where he was a standout for the football team. After high school, he went on to finish his studies at Tennessee Tech here in Cookeville. Anthony has been around the car industry his entire life, and has had great success ever since he started his own career in the automotive world. Anthony was the recipient for "Salesman of the Year" which is voted not only on sales but providing excellent service for our customers as well. When asked what he enjoys about working in his field? Anthony says, "I really enjoy being there to help our customers, I want them to know I'm here for them before and after the sale. I cherish the relationships I've built with customers I've had the pleasure of meeting over the years. I strive to make sure everyone that comes to our dealership has the best experience possible." When Anthony is not working and helping customers at the dealership, he enjoys spending his down time playing recreational sports, and spending quality time with his family and daughter. Anthony has been a great addition ever since he started here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. We are thrilled to have him on our team. Anthony goes above and beyond his job description, and our customers appreciate how hard he works for them. Anthony has become one of the top Ford Employees in the country. He was recently awarded the "Ford Employee Excellence Award," which is the highest honor to be handed down from Ford Motor Company. We are excited about Anthony and his future with our dealership, he has proven to be a vital part of the success here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Tim Roche heads up our Internet Department here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Tim was born and raised in the Chicago area but has called Cookeville home for the previous 12 years. Tim is a crucial key to our success at the dealership. Tim does a great job of running our internet department. His tenacious drive and attention to detail is impeccable. Tim does an excellent job with managing and maximizing the potential of our internet sales staff. When asked why he enjoys working in the car industry? Tim states, "For me it's fun, I love the people I get to meet, and I love the guys I work with. I enjoy helping the guys on our staff reach their goals and grow their career in the auto industry. It's a great feeling to be a part of their development." When Tim is not at the dealership, he enjoys spending his time with his wife of 46 years, their 4 children, and his 7 grandchildren. We are grateful to have Tim Roche at our dealership. You can tell Tim truly loves what he does. Kevin Parrish handles Internet Sales here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Kevin has been in the Upper Cumberland region his entire life. He attending Cookeville High School before going on to finish his studies at Tennessee Tech here in Cookeville. Although Kevin only started his career in the automotive industry three years ago, he has made quite a name for himself in a short amount of time. When asked what he enjoys about working in the car industry? Kevin says, "I love meeting new people and helping people. It's a good feeling when someone knows the car they want and I can help them get into that vehicle." When not working at the dealership, Kevin enjoys spending his free time playing golf, or being out on the lake skiing and wakeboarding. We are excited about Kevin Parrish's future here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. He has proven on a daily basis to be a valuable asset to our team. Mike Williams is on our Internet Sales staff here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville. Mike has been in the Upper Cumberland his entire life. He grew up in Baxter, Tennessee where he attended Upperman High School. He went on to finish his studies in Political Science at Tennessee Tech here in Cookeville. Mike resides in Baxter today with his Wife Roxan and their two daughters JoJo & newborn Olivia. Mike decided to start his career in the automotive industry back in 2013. When asked why he enjoys working in car sales? Mike states, "I love meeting new people, most people dread the car buying process. I'm here to help them through the entire way and show them how easy it is to buy a car here at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville." When he is not consulting customers at the dealership, Mike enjoys spending his free time watching his daughter JoJo in Karate, and playing with his newborn Olivia. Mike and his wife are avid hikers and enjoy traveling and being outdoors exploring. We are thankful for the addition of Mike Williams to our team. Mike is a young man of high character and integrity. Mike strives to make sure our customers receive the highest quality of service, his attention to detail, and dedicated work ethic makes him one of the best on our staff. Ronnie handles Internet Sales at Ford Lincoln of Cookeville, Ronnie joined our team back in 2013. Originally from Augusta, Georgia, Ronnie decided to relocate to Sparta, Tennessee in 1998, where he attended White County High School. Ronnie has over 4 years experience in the car industry, when asked why he enjoys his job, Ronnie says "I'm a people person, I enjoy meeting new people. The term car salesman seems to carry a bad stigma with it, I'm here to show our customers that's not the case. I am here for my customers and I make sure they get the best deal! I'm there for them before and after the sale, I truly enjoy taking care of them!" When not working at the dealership, Ronnie enjoys taking rides to the river, hopping in, and fishing all day. He also enjoys spending quality time with his 3 children Caleb, Tyson, & Johanna. We are very happy that Ronnie joined our staff back in 2013, he has proven to be a great addition to our staff. His genuine personality, always positive mindset, and loyalty to our customers has made Ronnie a vital part of our success here at the dealership. We hope to have Ronnie for many more years to come!

Ryan’s keen interest in all things automotive in general led him into a career in auto service and to earn just about every major Ford certification along the way including master certifications in sales consultancy, service management and warranty administration. After 13 years at other dealerships, Ryan has been using his expertise to serve as our Service Director for the last two-and-a-half years. Even after this considerable time in this field, Ryan still enjoys the interaction with both his customers and his colleagues. Although his job leaves Ryan all smiles he takes customer service very seriously and does everything in his power to make sure every customer is happy. Ryan has a wife and two children with whom he likes to enjoy hunting, fishing and the outdoors in general. He also loves Tennessee football! Go Titans!

When he was just starting out Casey was looking for a career opportunity but unsure which path to take. He took a shot with automotive service and it was a bullseye because here he is doing the same thing 40 years later. How has Casey lasted so long in this business? He enjoys dealing with customers and helping them accomplish their needs and wants they have about their vehicles. For the last two years Casey has been here at Ford of Cookeville advising customers regarding their service needs. Casey feels that customer satisfaction depends entirely upon assuring that the wants and needs of the customer are met. Outside of the service center, Casey likes outdoor adventures, long walks and traveling.

Being a true people person and one to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, Christina was immediately attracted to the exciting world of automotive service where there is always an opportunity to do something. Christina has been a service advisor here for nearly three years and has completed extensive Ford training during that time. Christina uses her interpersonal skills and her a Ford knowledge to make sure her customers drive away happy and satisfied every time. Outside of the service department, Christina enjoys a great many things but most of she likes to travel!
